I got some scrapping time this past weekend...This is Mark's V-rod that he sold. Ribbon on the bottom was purchased from a facebook group, everything else on this page was from my stash (yeah me). I played with (although difficult to see) we r memory magnetic cutting system. will have to think about this more before I buy it.

Advanced Art Class: Okay, so my art today is actually not so
advanced! Haha!
Remember doing leaf rubbings in school? I wanted to take that concept and apply it to a layout! Gather a few leaves, some white printer paper, and a white crayon. (You could also do this with another resist method, like rubber cement or resist ink, but I wanted to go old school!) Lay the leaves under the paper, veins up so that they will give a nice impression. Rub the crayon all over them.
Use some watercolors or use some mists with a paintbrush dipped in! Paint over the crayon and your image will start to appear!
Cut out the leaves. I love that they curl up just like real leaves!

My PE homework assignment:
Up and at 'em students! Drop and give me
10 push ups, 10 sit ups, do 10 squats, touch your toes 10 times and then let's
get to work! :) **You must read this entire post in a Sue Sylvester voice in
your head to get it. :)
I am here today to help you whip those sports related photos that are just laying around in boxes, or are just wasting space on your memory cards, into lean mean scrapping memories!
Now go run around the block and then read the rest of this when you get back. :) :) :)
Today for PE your assignment is:
*Do a LO in your size of choice, either double or single paged
*Please use sports "related" photos. This can mean directly, or indirectly. Memories of a sports party, trip to your college or high school to watch your alma mater play, meeting up with a high school teammate or coach. Any of those things count as well.
*Please use any memorabilia you may have saved from the event. Tickets, party decoration, spirit wear are the kinds of things I am thinking about.
*Try to use your team colors prominently in your work.
And those are the requirements ladies...deal with them! ;) (remember, I am Sue, not Kathy).
I used slip and slide photos of the kids in the backyard...they just crack me up with the things they used to do. I used a bunch of swap pieces for the elements

First day of camp (last summer) Of course they wanted Jerzey to come with them to camp, and were showing how easy it would be for the two of them to bring her. NOT.

This week's SYAO I didn't think I would enjoy, but I am so happy with how this double page spread came out. For the Products, I used: 7+patterned papers, ric rack/buttons and staples, alpha stickers and computer journalling. I also made 2 banners, but the requirement was 3...so that doesn't count, but I had fun making the banners anyway. For the technique I used 4 different punch edges and inked the edges for distressing.
here is the original challenge:

This was a full double page layout for a swap from my group. I love the beachy colors, and it worked great for my photos on Bryan in the water at Freeport, Bahamas.

A little bit of everything on this one.
First it was Week 31 of a 52 week challenge that I've done some in, but not all....no set deadlines for the challenge, just to finish them before the end of the year...I need hard deadlines.
I used a pif that I snagged
A topper from a swap and some scraps of paper from other pages that I had done recently.

A page kit I purchased at GASC...I wasn't really impressed with it once I opened it up to use...everything was very flat, so I cut out and pop dotted a few. Motorcycle was one Mark bought, fixed and sold.

A swap I did on IASST. Love all the cool elements everyone made. Love that the monkeys cooperated so much at the zoo that I got great photos of them too.
