Page 72 and 73

This is week 27 on my weekly challenge from FTS.  I was playing with my new camera at Sandy Hook back in September...Michael was brave enough to get his feet wet, and it was cold water...my little fish.
I used stamping (a flourish on my photo mat), 2+edge punches (used my filmstrip edger, square punch and waves) then I double matted the photo, added bling to the stamped flourish and ran ribbon thru the right side of the squares
Here is the original:

Use 2: Stamping, 2+ edge punches, paper piecing. Use 3: Double matted photo, Bling, Paper clip, ribbon, rubons

Here is week 14 page challenge from FTS.  I used misting on the entire cardstock background and then distressed the edges with ink.  I then used a metal bottlecap, 6+flowers, tags and paint.  This sunset was so amazing to watch from the ship.  Seeing that yacht pulling into port was just an added bonus.  It was the perfect fairy tale ending of the day.  (Too bad we didn't own that yacht)
Here is the original and our options

Use 2: embossing, distressing, edge punching, misting. Use 3: metal embellishments, lace, 6+ flowers, 5+ cardstocks, monochromatic, tags, paint

Well...GIANTS won the superbowl...and tradition for those NY teams (although they play in NJ) is a parade down the canyon of heroes...ending up at town hall in NYC.  Well...I couldn't go (ok wouldn't) go into NYC, so I did the next best thing a fan would do...watch it on TV...and photograph the TV :-).  So here is my layout for my champs!

A challenge to use a page kit that you weren't sure you would be able to.  I used one Annette created for me in a piffing group...added a few embellishments to it...and I have a finished product.
Shout Out to Annette for the page kit.

This was the boys first karate competition, June 2010.  Michael placed 3rd in forms, and neither did well in sparring.  They were orange belts.  Shout out to IASST for the swap pieces using the patterned paper and bazzill.  Love it.

Page 104 and 105: Trading Pages

You are not on the wrong blog...this was a swap I did called Trading Pages, where you were given somebody else's photos to scrap. I was lucky enough to get Deborah M., and she sent me photos from their summer vacation. I used my Cherish Book and got to work. Added some embellishments and left a journalling block for Deborah to add her journalling to. I do hope she likes it.

Page 42 and 43 Learning how to ride a two wheeler

The easiest way to learn a 2-wheeler on grass...less bumps and bruises, and the boys picked up on the riding so fast. I was proud.

Shout Out to Pauline for piffing me extras elements she had for bicycle riding.
