Bought this kit from a charity site, where 1/2 the proceeds went to a charity of my liking. Mine went to american diabetes foundation. Photos show the love of twins...Bryan wanted Michael to go in the ocean, Michael wanted to sleep..so Bryan grabbed him by his ankles and dragged him in...have no fear...Michael got even later.

Nope...thought I fixed it. Back to upside down. These were taken at sea world, san diego. Elements are from a really old swap kit I had in my draw.

This kit was made for me by Laurie as part of my 12-days of christmas gifts. She used a sketch based upon an outonthelimbscrapbooking layout...great job...I only switched out the ribbon, as these photos were for the boys blue-belts I thought it appropriate to use blue ribbon. (thanks Robin for the blue ribbon)

Jerzey LOVES the snow...and hates when anybody tries to shovel it off the deck in the back. First she will try to distract the person by chasing her tail, when that doesn't work, she tries sitting like a good girl hoping that will work...when all else fails...she will sulk and just follow you around. It is funny to watch her.
As for the challenge:
Here is the original challenge:
As for the challenge:
4 Photos (can be colored or b&w) (I used 4 photos of Jerzey doing her stuff to prevent snow from being shoveled)
Black & White ONLY (yep, everything including Jerzey and the snow is black or white)
Quilling (I attempted this, but without a quilling tool...it wasn't the easiest of tasks...but I did it...my swirl is quilled)
Masking (I used my hexagon Mister Huey mask)
Paint (I used Ranger's paint dabbers and the mask)
Swirls (my quilled one)
6 Brads (can you see them...left page has 3 (one white in the black star, and 2 snowflakes), right page also has 3 (2 black ones in the white stars and a snowflake)
Handwritten Journaling (yep, I journaled)
Make your own layered 3d embellie (I made my layered stars border for my embellishment)

Here is my SYTYCS week 10 and my D-challenge for scrappiestdisneyswaps (use a doily):
Double page sketch below - used the sketch
Recycled packaging (the packaging embellies come in)I decided to leave the let it snow on the plastic sheet it came on, instead of pulling it off and then I rotated the black insert from the package to make the strip across the journalling
Fussy cutting - I cut a snowflake out of the patterned paper and used it on my journal block
Distressing - I used inks and distressed my white doily to match the colors in the patterned paoers
No more than 3 pattern papers (I used 2 full for the background sheets and one strip from a 3 one for the end and the back for a journal spot)
Stay true to sketch stayed as true as possible...

I used a pif from Annette (the elements and mats), the paper was part of my Christmas Swap from Alicia, and the sketch was from outonalimbscrapbooking...and another 2 page layout is done! Notice that I had to take single photos...in order for them not to come in upside with my phone...still haven't figured out why.

For my above layout, I used the following products: 3+ handmade banners,
canvas/burlap, 7+ printed papers,"something" Tim Holtz and for the techinque, I stitched, distressed and stamped. (I used tim's distress ink to stamp lines on for my journalling, and distressed that entire journal block using the same ink, not sure if it photographed well and I stitched on the left page on the banner edge, again not sure it photographed well).

A page I purchased at GASC a few years ago. Took the kids to Thompson Park in Jamesburg, NJ one nice fall day, in 2009. They got to play and I got to take photos.

No better time to scrap winter snow pages when it is 100+ outside. Scrappy and Oreo playing in the snow...Oreo will not go outside without her jacket (yes she is a princess), scrappy loves to chase the snow as it falls.
Elements were from a swap on my group.

Time for the circus. This is an outonthelimbscrapbooking page kit I bought. I love their stuff! Photos are of the elephants at the circus that mom got the boys tickets to for their birthday. We all had so much fun that day. We got their early and joined in the festivities on the floor, enjoyed the show and lunch afterwards.

A page kit I bought at GASC. Simple, but I like it. Photos are of Michael playing tether ball at camp. His favorite activity next to ga-ga and swimming.
