This week's challenge for FTS, I decided to scrap some photos from Superstorm Sandy. While more towns in NJ suffered, Belmar is one the towns that touched home with me. This is the beach I show in SOOO many of my summer layouts. These photos are from Ocean Avenue...a paved road with parking on either side so it is nice and wide. The pilings that remain are where the boardwalk once stood...but have no fear...we are NJ strong and rebuilding.
For the challenge: I used hidden journal (upper corner on right page held in with a footprint clip, I also used 3+buttons and rubbons (the today and the tomorrow)
Here is the original:
Week 22
Use at least 1: real stitching, hidden journaling box. Use at least 2: 3+ buttons, 5+ cardstock colors, 3+ handmade flowers, rubons

Great layout. I think that scrapping the 'not good' times will be really meaningful to future generations.
Great page! Love that your are scrapping the not so good too.
Great page!! I am proud of you for scrapping this, i know it wasn't easy.
I agree with Kathy! The legacy I want to leave behind for my children is not that life was always rosy but that we endured some pretty tough times in life and made it past those times.
Great LO!!
