I used:
3 flowers
3+ patterned paper
twine
flags
Technique: distressed the flowers with glimmer mist as per the video, and I used embossing (dry) on the back of the photo mats...but you can't see it well in the photo, so I also distressed the edges of the background paper with ink. I also created my own baker's twine using copic markers on natural twine to match the colors.

great lo .. love the flowers and the twine .. and glad to hear your opinion on the banners i was gonna try them but for now i think i will stick with making my own! (=
